Why Low Vision Zoom?

โšก

Smooth Animation

Magnification eases toward its target over ~300ms with no jarring snaps or stutters. 60fps animation loop tuned for fluid motion.

๐ŸŽฏ

Cursor-Centric Zoom

The view pivots around your mouse. The point under your cursor stays put while magnifying, with no disorienting jumps to corners.

๐Ÿ”

Smart Panning

Dead zone panning keeps the zoomed viewport stable until you move the cursor near the edge, then it glides smoothly.

๐ŸŒ“

โš™๏ธ

Zero Configuration

No settings to fiddle with. Works out of the box with tuned defaults. Only preference: start with Windows, toggled from the menu.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost?

Low Vision Zoom will be $9.99 as a one-time purchase through the Microsoft Store. No subscription, no trial. Buy once and get all future updates automatically at no extra charge.

How is this different from Windows Magnifier?

Low Vision Zoom offers smooth, animated easing (no snappy jumps), cursor-centric zoom (the point under your cursor stays still), intelligent dead-zone panning, and a system-tray interface with minimal UI. Windows Magnifier is more full-featured but less polished for quick, frequent magnification adjustments.

Does it work with multiple monitors?

Yes. The app intelligently handles multiple monitors, panning within the monitor containing your cursor. The OS magnification API has some limitations on secondary monitors, but the primary display is fully supported.

Can I start it with Windows automatically?

Yes. Toggle "Start with Windows" in the tray menu or About dialog. The setting is saved and survives app updates.

Will Windows warn me when I install it?

No. Low Vision Zoom is distributed through the Microsoft Store, and Microsoft signs the package after certification. There are no SmartScreen warnings or unknown-publisher prompts.
